Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry exists to provide Christ‑centered care, support, and encouragement to individuals who are facing life’s challenges and would benefit from a compassionate companion. Many people hesitate to share their emotional or spiritual burdens with friends or family, yet they long for someone who will listen without judgment and walk with them through difficult seasons. Stephen Ministry ensures that no one in our church family has to struggle alone.

Stephen Ministers are trained members of our congregation who offer confidential, one‑on‑one care to those experiencing grief, illness, loneliness, job loss, divorce, spiritual crisis, or other significant life transitions. Through regular meetings, they listen, pray, and provide steady, Christ‑like presence—reminding care receivers of God’s love and faithfulness even in the hardest moments.

This ministry complements the work of our pastors by providing ongoing, individualized support that pastors may not always have the capacity to offer. Each Stephen Minister completes extensive training to ensure high‑quality, compassionate care rooted in biblical principles. Their commitment reflects the Stephen Ministry motto: “Christ caring for people through people.”

Whether you are navigating a personal struggle or simply need someone to walk beside you, Stephen Ministry offers a safe, confidential place to be heard, supported, and encouraged. No one is meant to face life’s challenges alone—and through Stephen Ministry, you don’t have to.
